Hmmm maybe. I thought they were a drop in but could be wrong.

I know zero about amps electronics but a quick google told me there is a small resistor mod that needs to be done ... could be totally wrong

Nope, they’re like EL34’s but with more highs & lows.
Just bias the amp just like you would when installing new tubes
