Pretty excited about this. Thoughts?

it's got a dumb name . . . why only XLR inputs, isn't this a guitar FX/amp modelling thing?

Love the addition of wifi and being able to edit via phone app but as with most high end modellers, it looks overkill and expensive.

It looks amazing on paper! But has anyone heard how well there amp models sound etc? Just because your old Holden has a big V8 doesn’t mean it handles well!

Or goes that fast! Check out power outputs of 70's production V8s versus 2010s 4s and 6s.

Looks amazing. But yeah, why XLR inputs?

I would be tempted to try one out. The screen looks like it'd be fun.

The screen looks like they copied Helix though...

It’s actually “combo” input, with mono 1/4 in the core I believe.

I think the real question will ultimately be sound and feel. Processing power doesn’t necessarily mean best sound. Look at the Kemper - still cutting edge tone using nearly a decade old technology and hardware.

That being said, if this unit nails the tone and feel (especially lower gain - which I found the fractal and helix stuff didn’t do for me) then this looks like one hell of a package.

It’s a great time to be a guitarist.

Which is also a good way of saying how important feel is. Just because by every technical and quantifiable measure a modern car might be better, it doesn't follow that you'd want to drive one.

That would make sense, but the picture above shows XLR inputs.

XLR input would be handy if you wanted to run a mic through it too, the old HD500/X you could do that and do vocoder etc stuff with it :)

I assume that indicates that this is miles away from being a finished product

Outputs 3 & 4 are mono 1/4 aren’t they?

still not much help for plugging a guitar into
