That seems to be the ideal setting for most SF Fenders: keep the MV maxed (or close to it) and use the Volume to get to where you want to be. Sounds so glorious and open, compared to choking it off by winding back the MV.

Its Ian McAllister’s Studio, not even sure what he calls it these days. He used to go under the name Sweet Juice Studios. I’m back in there Fri doing some more overdubs.
Really happy to get my new amp on these recordings.

Pretty happy with the raw tracks of the Fender so far, tracked around 8 songs today.
