Anyone with thoughts on Neodymium speakers in general then? I'm not sure whether to stick with the tried and true Creamback G12M or give a Neo a whirl.

I had a weber neo, didn't float my boat.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

My buddy Clarry who fixes any number of AC30s et al says that the neos' are lighter in weight than normal speakers because the magnets are much smaller and that they do sound different.
Doin' that scrapyard thing.

Neodymium magnets are super strong and don't fade in performance, AlNiCo are a much gentler magnet so it would be interesting to see how it compares.

Fucking magnets.

Yeah would much rather go with fading alnico's.... ceramic too. I don't know what I didn't like about it. Obviously very light but just didn't make me go 'wow'

The Alnico Cream is double the price of the Neo. Neo is slightly more than the G12M.
