Acoustic amp suggestions please

Post by MrDINO »

Looking at getting one. Anyone here have any preferences? Thanks
Was looking at the AER selling on TM from Baymusic. 2.1k new. I guess anything up to 1.5-6 is not bad.

The SWR California Blonde is my favourite & it can be used for Bass and with lots of inputs/outputs can be a PA system. Not many around though, but one was sold on TM last week for about $500.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

Some keyboard amps are good for the wider range (tweeter etc). But I had a old Roland cube and it always felt like the guitar was too hot for the input.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

I bought a rubber sound hole plug for a couple of dollars off TM which solves that problem.
