FYI Pawnshop wouldn't take $300 for the RM50 combo. Not worth any more given the state it is in IMO. New pots, tubes and tetanus shot would bring you back up to the $600 asking price.

Yeah for sure, better than left wondering. I was expecting the worst. Is the crate head the massive unit on the back shelf?
Haha when you say that it makes my voodoo lab gcp look like a much bigger gamble. Maybe north shore cash converters is more upmarket...

Re: The NZG MTS Thread
yeah its ridiculous, tube sized head for a SS unit! I guess its more for aesthetics...having said that it was probably one of the most savage things ive ever had to keep up with-its why i got my VH100r as nothing else could compete in the SS range of the timeMattallica wrote:Yeah for sure, better than left wondering. Re: The NZG MTS Thread
Well the head comes with 3 modules. Blackface, Tweed and Top Boost. No hi-gain ones left but that's all good. So I went for it.
Can I be part of the gang now guys?

Pretty sure I still have a currently unused 'Recto' module sitting around here. Could be up for a swap of something unrelated.griff7628 wrote:Well the head comes with 3 modules. Blackface, Tweed and Top Boost. No hi-gain ones left but that's all good. So I went for it.

Re: The NZG MTS Thread
The tweed and top boost use "brit" boards which are the most flexible for modifications. The top boost is quite gainy as stock. That's a good haul of modules

Yep I finished the mod but I'm still playing around with extra switch options. Which you wouldn't need but could add later if you wanted.griff7628 wrote:Did you end up mapping the Ironheart circuit Matt? I love the crunch channel on that thing! An IRT module would be brilliant!
Can't add the preboost btw. Nature of the beast
