Swaps Thread

Post by Jimmy V »

In these hard times, I figure not everyone has an abundance of cash to buy gear but some may have gear they are willing to swap. So this is a thread for just that. I guess it's probably best to post what items you have to swap, what you are looking for (or even "make a swap offer") and then PM accordingly so it doesn't get too messy in here. Just ideas. This has been cleared with BG. It may be successful, it may fail. But let's give it a go anyway.

I'll start it off... I have a Boss DS-2 distortion pedal I'd be keen to trade for some sort of overdrive pedal.

Cheers!

*edit: and stickied, BG
Man, I love me some Grove.

Good idea Jimmy. Now I just need to decide if I want to swap anything out from my meagre collection. :D

Anyone wanna swap my Epi LP for a PRS Cu22?

Well someone was going to, might as well get it out of the way...

and a Carvin R600 300W+300W bass head

and a Carvin 2x10 bass cab and surely many other things that I could part with...

If one or more were to be replaced with a 100W+ tube head such as:

I'd like the bass gear, but I don't know if I could part with my Superlead. :(

I could do you a hot deal on three tower cranes!

I have:

A black SX Strat - ** Sold! **

A DOD FX72 Bass stereo flanger - a little bit crackly when switching on and off, might just need a decent clean. Swap for an cheapass pedal that makes an interesting noise.

could be very interested in one of these.......

and maybe this.......

don't really have much to swap...only thing I can think of is an xbox360 halo edition (20gb, headset etc etc)...

I have a yamaha twelve 12strg acoustic but have messed around with it a bit so is a bit "rough"

PM me what sort of price you think you want cause I have cash to

Actually that raises a good point: can we put up non-guitar gear for swaps?
