I think you’re spot on, I’ve been keeping an eye out for one for quite some time and they do seem few and far between. I’d prefer vintage spec, an AVRI would be great, but standard would also work, personally not a big fan of the neck binding and fret inlays, just dots for me.

Just been looking through the offset chat, if that gold one on there is the one you got last year....very nice work.
Ah, nope — that's just a random picture. This is mine:

You could consider a MIJ '60s Heritage. Vintage specs, lacquer finish:

Might scrape in under $3K after GST and duties. No case though.

Oh yeah nice, I’ve seen that one too..that turquoise finish is unreal. They have the same or similar at Found Sound in Melbourne and I’ve looked very closely at making enquiries. You’ve done really well there. For the record I actually like the look of the neck binding, but being a long time Strat/Tele guy I find it a little foreign when I’m playing, just a tactile thing.

I’m actually very open to a MIJ, just thought I’d aim high....thanks for the advice, the Heritage does sound good, love me some lacquer.

I have a TC Electronics Sub-N-Up that I bought a few months back. watched one too many octave pedal demos on YouTube and thought I needed one. I think I used it twice and the novelty wore off.
swaps for overdrive pedal of some sort would be ideal.

Does anyone have a set of 11s or 12s electric guitar strings? I have some EB slinkies, D'Addario XL, and Dean Markley (coated) sets of 10s to swap.
