WTB-attenuator 100w

has someone got something that would tame my possessed vh100R? Doesnt have to be UA ox level,just something to tame the VIOLENCE ;)

Laney used a strange taper on that volume pot, if it's just better volume control you're after you could look at swapping it out for something more mild in taper, or putting a 220k in series with the master volume control. After about 2.5 on the MV the power tubes are way into overdrive.

Looks like standard A1M for the volume controls?

Kris, have you tried padding down in the loop?

i have,but it didnt really do the job i wanted.you can kinda get something similar messing with the loop switch,setting it to insert and rolling the return level down.
A captor or something would be more ideal thoiugh heh.

Yeah saw that mate,cheers. Can get one new from andertons for about 10 more so that's also my call! Guess I'll play the long game as it's not a huge priority :)

thanks man,but i seem to recall these were mad cheap at some stage? its cheap but something is mentally blocking from going HELL YEUGH. Maybe its the bugera FACTOR...
