It's times like this I worry about my memory. My recently purchased Baja came with a spare set of US Fender Tele pickups but 1) I can't remember what they are, and 2) I'm not sure if I've already sold them.

Hope that helps. :-)

Yeah I’m going to experiment with a lower output with mid push type model, not an easy spec to find. Although the current one is really awesome so might be hard to gain anything, we will see.

Hey MisterB are you still after a Tele pickup, I have a really great sounding one for sale, flat pole 8.3k similar spec to a Klein Epic Nocaster pickup. I don't know much about it other than it looks really old, and sounds really good, but I like insane amounts of high end treble and prefer lower output pickups so I swapped it out for a 6k 60's style.

Looks cooler than mine. I did eventually find the set I have. It's from a US Highway Tele I think.

Nice one Molly, I also ended up with a cheap fender pickup the 62 custom which is Alnico 2, which I'm not usually a fan of but the extra mid's and highs really work it this particular guitar which is quite mid scooped. The one I'm selling has more of that early blackguard approaching p90 thing going on, which seems to be what the majority of blues rock Tele players prefer.
