WTD: Dual (Analog?) Delay [SORTED]

Post by codedog »

Anyone has one floating around? I think Strymon Dig is one, Mad Professor Dual Delay, etc. Anything that can run 2 delays at the same time, as opposed to switching between 2 delay options.

I guess I didn't mention a budget. It's a hard one... I may be temped to get a Dig. That may be a rough guide. I don't want gizzillion options, no Spaceship Enterprise.

Then I heartily recommend the DIG, with one caveat... it's not analog. But in 12-bit mode with filtering it's in the ballpark.

Mix 2 delays together with a variety of subdivisions (Golden Ratio being unique) and have them run in series, parallel, ping pong, or each to a separate amp.

I had a TimeLine and it did a lot but IMO didn't sound that great. Couldn't be happier with downsizing to a DIG.

But I did recently buy a Dark Sun though... :D

That's true, I forgot the DIG is not analog :) I'm not much into complex delay usage, something simple like the DIG sounds just like what I'm after. The idea of 12-bit mode to make it closer to analog sounds grand too!

So... anyone got a DIG they want to shift? Or have these gone the way of the Flint? :crybaby:

Mixing analog delay with digital is preferable in my mind, what sort of sound are you after?

The main use will be subtle Andy Timmon-esque effect.

Nice, I nearly went with a DIG before I got the El Cap, which I enjoy more each time I play it. Can't go too far wrong with Strymon.

Yeah, I was after a very specific usage... a dual delay. The DIG says just that on the tin, so I went for that one :D Can't wait for it to arrive!
