First play through my new amp!
Recorded just with iPhone but I’m
Sure I’ll do something better later when I get some time.
Sounds pretty good through my 2x12 actually but I’d still
Like a matching 4x12 just because!

It’s likely I’ll buy an A cab as there are more around but a B just has a bit more thump! Hoping for a Checkerboard B cab but open to any 1960 on offer.

It’s actually not that bad, the amp is at full volume in the video and it’s not even really distorting the iPhone mic. I mean it’s loud but not crazy. Could be because it’s 30watts tube rectified compared to 50watts Non rectified?

Saw that on Facebook too.
I know a local guy who owns a back line Business and he said he could probably let one of his 4x12s go. He has 1960AX, 1960AV and 1960A, multiples of each I think. not sure if he has any B cabs but he said come over with the amp and have a try. Will work something out with him maybe.

I’m assuming the MG series aren’t as good?
I’ve also considered a brand new Origin serries cab but I think they are mdf? Anyone know?

All the budget lines are, well, budget. mdf, crap speakers, avoid. Let's face it,compared to many other manufacturers the top tier M stuff leaves a bit to be desired. They do however sound spiffing...

Mdf should have no effect on a closed back cab, in fact it should be better as no flexing at all.

Heavy as fuck and don't get it wet. Budget for good speakers though. Oh and the cabs are smaller than 1960's so you may be playing amp lego.

I'm talking MG series, don't know about the origin.
you JUST KNOW some Tory wanker has thought of this idea already. Probably getting the inspiration whilst fucking a dead pig.
