Pedal clear-out

Post by robthemac »

A gear downsize is required for the new whare. Free shipping for you good bastards. Or we can meet up in Auckland pre-Christmas. Photos to come, any specific photos available on request (toe-shots available on my OnlyFans). Unless specified, comes with original box and some velcro on the back.

Source Audio Nemesis delay: Timeline killah. But I miss the one-trick pony that is the Volante. $370
Pepers OCD clone: sounds identical to an original when I did a comparison. Cooler graphics. Takes 18V like a champ. No box. $100
Super Hard On boost clone: made by a forumite, can't remember which. Pot is quite crackly (which Zvex actually say is normal on the original pedal graphic) but once set it sounds great as a clean, uncoloured boost. Quite hairy when you turn it up, if that's your thing. No box. SOLD
Tortuga Yeti - wicked fuzz with four different switchable voicings. It's an older version than what Tortuga are currently selling. $200 (can't remember what I paid for it, if less I'm happy to move on price!)
HotCake - presence knob is snapped off. Think it's set around 2 o'clock. Probably not super easy to repair cos of goopy insides from Crowther. Thankfully the presence control is in its sweet spot for my rig. SOLD
Crybaby GCB-95 - SOLD

It must be a truly tiny whare if selling this lot gives more space!

Guitar room is likely to be a quarter of a single bedroom. So every little bit will make a difference!

If the wife sees me posting gear out, that'll assuage some wifely concerns. I'm also selling an amp (forumite has private first dibs) and a guitar (just haven't decided which one - anyone want a Tele-shaped object?)

A Radian-bodied Partcaster with two P-90s and a rough-as-guts finish. Or a Whitfill Blackguard.

We should just start posting empty boxes to each other….

As hotcake into Vox seems to be the gold standard, I’ve been thinking about finding one. Plan for Vox was to be the guitar >> cable >> amp, but feel like I should try the hotcake. Can any users of the Vox and hotcake combo she’d any light on whether presence at 2 o’clock is about right?

Then we'd have to explain the incoming box without the benefit of new gear. Maybe we should post empty boxes to Denche.
