FS: Mesa Lonestar 2x12

Post by sizzlingbadger »

I'm thinking I will downsize to a smaller combo or head/cab so this is up for grabs. It has just had $300 worth of valves fitted and I will include the original Mesa's that were still working.

1 x Electro-Harmonix 5U4G
4 x Tung-Sol 6L6GC-STR

There are a couple of marks in the Tolex on the rear of the amp, but otherwise it is very tidy. Removable castors included. No foot switch, but it requires a standard dual switch with 1/4" Stereo connector jack, so many foot switches will work. Gen II model with 100/50/10 Watt settings.

$2000 ono + shipping, happy to help with local delivery in the Wellington region.

Can be quieter than it looks too!

A mate had to visit Auckland and picked it up for me. I expect Mainfreight Depot to Depot would be the cheapest option for shipping.

I might want to keep it though, something like that with a 1x12 cab would suit me well. I'd really like a Toneking but prolly too many $$$ for me to justify TBH.

I'd really like a Toneking and because life is short and Toneking amps are great, I should just buy one.
Fixed. :-)

Joking aside. Since you're an electronics whiz, how come you just don't make the amp you want?
