This guitar is the love child of a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Telecaster. Most guitars of this ilk seem to be more on the Stratty side of things in terms of their single coil tones, but this guitar has more Tele DNA in its sound & feel. It uses the same materials as a Les Paul (2-piece mahogany body & maple cap) but less wood, so it is as light as a (light) Tele. But it has beefy humbuckers, so it really rocks. 5 way switching. Comes with the original hardshell case. It also comes with a spare Anderson pickup. Currently it has the original bridge pickup (HC2 I think) moved to the neck and an Anderson H3 fitted at the bridge. The original HC1 neck pickup is also included in case you want to return it to original spec, and a more vintage tone. And it has the newer Anderson neck joint, which I think is the best of both worlds, incredibly stable plus a large contact area for the tonez. It is very resonant.

Here's a review from Music Radar, as they know more about it than I do: https://www.musicradar.com/reviews/guit ... tom-288499

I got this guitar in a trade with another member (for a PRS). There is nothing wrong with it and it is in almost new condition. The action is incredibly low. All Anderson guitars are made spectacularly well, this is no exception. It sounds awesome and is a real rock machine, with a great range of tones.

Cheapest one I've seen on Reverb is $3,500USD. I'm open to offers (this is NZ after all and the US prices don't always hold up), and may consider a PX for something interesting provided there is still money my way.

I had this at one point and it is something special.
Somewhat understated in the looks department but it is top of the line quality.
Doubt the new owner will have any regrets. Tempting

I said day, not date. :moresarc:

Though you're closer than you think; my birth mother was barely 15 when I was born.

I'm probably the perfect candidate for a guitar like that. Timing; 2 years ago, I was feeling flush.......as you well know.
