Well, I actually do have a very nice fuzz pedal for sale. But it is stupid expensive... I was planning to peddle it on the D*A*M forum. But if you're interested...

Thunderbird MkI - 2x OC75 and 1x OC82 transistors. Beautifully built by a guy in Finland and housed in a gold hammerite MkII style wedge. $450.

Wow that’s nice! I bet the gut shot looks good too!
Out of my price range unfortunately.
I have a mk1 breadboarded at the moment with a couple of AC128 and another good sounding germainium and it’s a great circuit! I have a mk2 built by someone else but the mk1 is a bit more unruly and i like it that way!

Yeah, Mk1s are my favourite fuzz - way more character than the MkII. Here's the guts (the OC82 is a Texas Instruments one - for the nerds, original mk1s sported one OC75 and two TI 2G381s... :geek:):

When I look at a 'simple' layout like that, I think to myself..."I can pull that off". Then I break out the soldering iron and within 10 minutes it's.....yeah.....nah!
