1972 Harmony H671 Hollow Thinline Hollow Body.

Seriously thinking of passing this on after more than 25 years of ownership.
I don't know the NZ value & as usual the US prices are always much higher, so I would appreciate some feedback on what you think the value is.

Your task right now is obvious.

This was one of the last before the original Harmony factory closed - 1973 I think, and I haven't seen many for sale on Ebay

A good article from Rothman Guitars - The H671 was one of the last from Harmony's Professional Series.

I forgot to mention that it has a solid spruce top which is why it is so loud unplugged.

it is the later version of the H61, nice guitars, the pickups were made to look like humbuckers but have a wood spacer in there and are De Armond single coils.

The Harmony factory closed in 1975 and auctioned off their equipment supposedly in1976. It is equivalent to the Meteor and is a very nice model. I have an H74 and Airline brand Meteor (H8448) which are equivalent to this.

I sold a Rocket back a few years for $1200, and although US$ are around $12-1500 would think here if you could get $1200 you would do well, these just aren't on the radar here, but they are tone monsters.

ETA: I could put this up on the Harmony Guys Board if you like, shipping to the USA is cheap and there may be folks would like this especially with case and definitely with the F hole inserts etc.
