FS: G2D Cream-Tone - Has to go.....another pedal incoming

Post by vintage52 »

Was on the hunt for a Custom Classic to go with the Cream-Tone but have picked up a Siamese Drive and need to move the Cream-Tone.

Will no doubt move the Siamese at some stage as I seem to be on the hunt for the sound that is already in my MI Audio TubeZone.

$260 shipped or haggle......

I had two at one stage.

Foolishly sold one when times were a bit difficult.

If I could find another......

C'est la vie.

I bought mine from Ryan, I said I wanted something that would definitely colour my tone and send it into hi-gain territory, transparent I don't want.
Turned out it was a pretty transparent overdrive at low levels, but I loved that it did hi-gain so well!

MI Audio has some crazy good stuff in their historical line up. I have had my Blues Pro longer than every other OD pedal. Also, not entirely transparent, but has more of the good stuff in every position.

Yeah thats why I liked the Tube Zone over the Blues Pro. It was the same low down (I felt), but did everything up to silly levels of gain, the blues pro just normal levels ;)

I don't know why I don't just buy a triple rec and admit thats the gain level I prefer :)

That's the journey I've been on.

That mega gain is something I enjoy.

The TubeZone reacts well will a volume roll off.
