FS: Beautiful guitars needing new homes

Post by Kiwiaxe »

Ok, here are some guitars which are all beautiful but are not getting played. Yes, that is a problem you have a few* guitars. So I figure they should be given the opportunity to be let free (as in, released - not "free" free).

In order, from left to right:
- Tom Anderson Mongrel. Comes with hard case, and an extra (SSS) pickguard with a bridge single coil pickup. SOLD
- Suhr custom. Comes with hard case (I think). Recently replaced trem arm (that was a pain in the ass! had to get shipped in from the States!). SOLD
- PRS NF3. Comes with hard case (I think). SOLD.
- Vigier Excalibur custom. Has non-original pickups but very nice ones (nick is a Tom Holmes humbucker. Based on google, they go for like $500+!). Shitty gator case. $1600.
- EBMM JP15. All original. Proper hard case. SOLD

I'm eyeing up what else might be worth releasing. I'm finding myself gravitating to the same half dozen guitars.

Also to add to the mix, a mint condition powered Atomic CLR Neo Mk2. Good luck getting these in NZ. I imported it from Andertons back when you could get them. Generally considered *the* FRFR speaker for modellers/profilers/etc. With sundown padded case. $2000.

* if I don't count them, I can truthfully answer my wife's question "how many guitars do you actually have?" with "I don't know, maybe a dozen**""
** not a dozen

I'm disappointed. You just need to buy guitars all in the same colour.
"oh the sunburst one? had it ages"

or shape

"oh the strat, nah had it repainted, swapped it for a pedal"

actually "swapped it for _____________" works really well by itself.

Hopefully this works!
I'll have to fish out the extra single coil (bridge) pickup from my storage cupboard!
