I am almost certain I could be that guy...

I've tried 3 times to get this thing but it's always come at the worst timing.
Step right this way, Sir. We have much to discuss....

Need a buyer more than I need the cash. By that I mean I have to keep the peace by selling stuff. I don't necessarily have to sell it right now. i just need to have someone lined-up that'll commit to buying it. They don't need to be flush right at this moment.
I'll see what I can offload...

The problem is, I'm not in the market for a new amp in the slightest and I would then also need a cab. I really like what I've got so I'm reluctant to get rid of any of it lol. But... I've lusted of this thing for the last 3 years.

Yeah, but that's the nature of passion, eh? I could get by with a Squier and an iRig but instead I'm preparing for an international tour that'll never take place. I worry about how I'll boost solos and all sorts of irrelevant crap. It's the delusion that keeps me going. :-)

This is true. It's your duty to set the tone so to speak.

My Mrs is kind of used to it. Once it was: "Why are there motorbike fenders in the bedroom?" and I'd say: "Oh, they've always been there...". Now it's: "So, hang on, what amp is that? When did you get that one?" "Oh, ages ago. Y'know. That swap with the thing from the guy on the forum...."

Not sure if anyone has ever asked but, does this amp actually do what it says it does? (AC30/JCM/Matchless) How good does it sound? Does it take pedals well? (I'm aware they may not be required).
Is she high maintenance? Can you she do bedroom levels? Can you footswitch between amp structures? (If not can it be added)

I can attest to knowing that the JCM side rips. Ryan is a maestro. If you ask me the amp is worth it for that channel alone, and I'm always surprised to see the poor thing being moved on.

I find at home that getting the best from it tends to be a bit too loud to comfortably jam away over stuff. I don't like using the master volume as I don't think it's as nice as just turning the amp up. My Matchless was exactly the same. I hardly use that side of it anyway. I use the Marshall side. The pull gain adds more than I want so I don't use that. I think anybody could find at least one tone in it that they loved and might just leave it there. That's what I seem to have done.
