Thats a good result. Would have been heartbreaking to find out it was in the bottom of the river or something.

That happened to a friend of mine. He had a Gibson Les Paul Custom that was rare as hens teeth in Germany. I believe some time in the 70s or 80s his band paid some guys to help them load stuff in and out while on tour. One of them nicked his guitar but he got caught and showed the cops that it was hidden in a river.

The cops made him jump in and my mate got his guitar back - fully functional, even the electronics, but the paint lifted off unfortunately. Cool story though.
