Teenage Engineering OP1

Post by Danger Mouse »

Random youtubing of Moog Modular synths let me stumble across these. Not guitar-based as such, but with the ability to sample from iPods and the like, it could be a cool toy for recording on the move, using iRig or similar, possibly. Check out YouTube for some cool vids showing them off.

Would love to buy one and have a play, but babies are expensive to run...

No real interest, but that's chiefly because most of the fun is in the making, for me. The only modules I'm interesting in BUYING are a quantizer, and a MIDI interface.

It appeals to me both on a musical and engineering geek level, especially as in one vid I watched it was mentioned the makers are constantly releasing upgrades.

So much cool stuff you can do with these, although I get the feeling someone with your abilities is required to really make the most of one. I want one too !
