Yeah that was my first thought too, but I took the switch off the plate and it didn't fix it. Ill have a second look though.

Hate to admit you were right, but yeah you were right! 😅
I hadn't taken it fully out of the control plate when I checked first time.

Bit of filing of the control plate slot and it works a treat.

This is the obvious and sensible solution. That said, as I was reading it I was imagining having to elongate the slot and thinking about how rough that would look and the fact that it'd break through the chrome.... It's likely I'd have done exactly that and only then realised that all I had to do was file the switch...

That'd be classic me. :-(

yeah I was thinking it would be the least chance to fuck up lol... and the switch blade being the softest of the materials.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Not the smoothest job in the world, but you'd never notice. That scratch from when the file slipped however...
