What colour is this?
Answer: A very cool colour for a Strat.
I seem to remember voting against it when it was in the tin.
I was wrong.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
After some time with Grant, a diagnosis of a fucked neck was made. So on went a surprisingly chunky one that he had floating around. She's back and plays great. Sounds absolutely raucous. Will put a few recordings up when I get a chance.

Spring is the comic sans of reverbs anyway.
Looks great. And what an awesome sounding body. Very resonant, With a great chimey top end. The neck is an AllParts ‘62 special order in aged nitro with the beefy profile and 7.25” rad. Great match.

Recorded a few examples. Partscaster --> Flint --> Iridium. No OD/boost pedals, the P-90s hit the front end hard enough! First three are neck / both / bridge, then bridge digging in a little harder. Then some examples of bridge with a bit more gain, then middle, then neck. Final one just shows the Volante doing it's spacey stereo thing.

That's a fine sounding instrument.
