Just asking out of interest, I had done the math in my head about what it would cost to even pay you minimum wage to make!

really impressive work there. great thread
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

Sitting at 105 hours to date, probably another 2 days to finish. Parts are over $600 and wood materials I haven't even costed as I have used from my own supplies.

From an economic point of view, it is a time expensive hobby with no return other than that rewarding feeling of having created something functional and unique.

Who knows, perhaps in another 100 years time my creations may sell for big bucks...

Testing different capacitors and different wiring schemes... been phucking around a bit...

All going well, I'll pull all the parts through the bridge pick-up opening into its designated place coming Monday.

Hoping to have this in a playable state for gearfest next Saturday. Final bridge, pots, pickguard and truss rod cover etching can wait.

They had a sale on recently in which they sold all the collected 'blemished' ones over the last few years. They were quite a bit cheaper and you barely can see any blemish. Should have bought a few more...
