Ive been using the Crimson Guitars oil. Its lighter than Tru Oil - other wise quite similar - they do two versions - a "Penetrating" version and a "High Build". I just use a few coast of the penetrating on my necks. Really like it.

The wolfie necks have a very thin layer of trueoil wiped on and wiped immediately off - two times, then waxed. That's what I did to that neck :-)

What is the wax you're supposed to use? Guessing my Axis has the same thing; best feeling neck I've got.

Birchwood Casey (who make tru-oil) do a gunstock wax, that's what I use.

yeap- I use that wax, but the briwax is good too. Only thing with the briwax, is 'melts' the tueoil a bit.
