and they all have warranties. Keep the reciept, if it crocks out every year, you can have a new one for life! I have no problem buying cheap ;) Most of the stuff I have though has lasted way out of its warranty - so thats ozito, number9 etc

oh good to know. Been looking at getting a cheap Scroll Saw but was worried about the Ozito brand because I got a jigsaw years ago and it only lasted 2 weeks (lost the receipt so basically threw away $$)

I'm not giving the ozito brand the kdawg guarantee of invincability but, for the price, they're pretty good. Cutting square? That's a whole other issue!

I think that's the luck-of-the-draw factor with cheap tools... not the most consistent quality. Mine lasted a ridiculously long time until I lost it when we shifted.

are these pretty much the same thing you build Sean?
No, mine are much smaller and fit into a humbucker housing. I also use neodymium magnets and they are much hotter than Bobiron's. I have one here for you as I pulled them out of my Gretsch copy and replaced them with Dynasonics.

Excellent work! I like the way that the carve shows the top wood merging into the main body wood. Did you say somewhere what woods you used?
