Quality seems reasonable enough, will fit them to my budget strat copy over the weekend.

Have also started messing around trying to set up the guitar. I'm crap at it, but it does seem to be decent enough quality that I could achieve a reasonable set up with more practice.
Lols. That's shameless exhibitionism. I prefer the subtle tease...just the hint of a slightly out-of-focus toe

I've spent my life falling out of things, falling over things, kicking things, stubbing toes on things, dropping things... I'm just glad I still have toenails.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Lonestar is getting new leather corners and handle today.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Sadly my actual fingers aren't much better, hence why all the big swept arpeggios and wide stretch string skipping techniques all the cool metal kids are doing these days are literally out reach for me.

This is me also, although those are also out of reach for me due to general lack of ability and laziness.

Before and after picks. Many, many hours of work, the things we do for friends eh! Soldering and reassembly next...

An upgrade for the Starcaster, closer to the original WRHB with magnetised pole pieces screwed in.

Certainly a few out there but the ones like Creamery, Fralin etc were the cost of the guitar, wasn't going to go that road. These were US$258 which stung but was doable.
