It has been for years. I've gigged with it, recorded it, played it daily. I just want it restored back to stock.

That sounds interesting, what do you have in mind?NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:02 pm
There's much better ways to change the bias which is something I have planned.

I'd like to eventually use a 5 way rotary with different value resistors on there to go between hot, stock, and cold.
Mesa bias their amps pretty cold from factory, about 45% dissipation if I remember correctly which is great for tube life but not good for unleashing the hell they can summon.

Re: What's on your work bench?
In all seriousness, the is would be an amp that might be worth a bit in the future. Sound great, not many of them round, well-made, damn near impossible to clone.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:47 pmNoted but since it's pre-gibson the value has rocketed!robthemac wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:41 pmOk, dibs if you change your mind.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:02 pm

They're appreciating already. They're reasonably rare, sound amazing in every department, and they didn't come with the metal grille that lumped the other rectos into a camp.
But yeah, thanks man. I've no idea what it would be worth anyways.

1990 LP Standard. Just in for a restring. Nice burst, decent weight, vintage style logo, nice neck, great tone....It's enough to make me think maybe I don't need an Historic.

How do I get these stud anchors out without making a complete mess of things?

Re: What's on your work bench?
I'd get a small bolt or screw (shorter than the depth of the stud hole) and pop it in the hole, thread up, then screw the posts back into the studs, it will push the stud out nicely

You run the risk of denting your top doing that though
