Yeah, that’s a game changer solder sucker. My only gripe is I wish the button was down near the tip of the thing, I find it hard to grip when it goes off.

Worth it's weight in gold that thing.
Yes, best I've had with the flexible tip thing. I purchased a metre of that silicon tubing because the genuine spare is tiny & so damn expensive for what it is!
Link to solder sucker? I have an old one I've had since the 90s, never been enamoured by it...
This is the exact same one but with easier ordering and the one I have.

Engineer ss02 if that's easier. MIJ for vintage cred.

Got a cheap mulcher/chipper the other weekend because it wasn't running. Cleaned up the carburetor and replaced the diaphragm and now it's away!

Time to attack the pile of branches I've accumulated.

Saves drilling through the body, and $5 for the ferrules, so I’m all for it. :-)

I love how they've taken the height adjustment screw out of the mount, and put the low e string through the hole. 😊

Can't imagine that tying the loose end around the vibrating section of the string would cause any issues.

Grant has sent me some old Gibsons to practice on. That way I won't be ruining a new squier or anything.

New guitars are too nice to mess around with, you're right to knock Grant's old wood about.

I always wondered what to do with excess string length!

Adding optical true-bypass and LED to my Vox wah, stole it from a pedal kit I had lying around that had issues...
