Anyone wanting to get any guitar parts?

Post by robthemac »

I'm looking at doing another Partcaster in the not too distant future. I'll probably get one of these https://www.guitarbuild.co.uk/products/tc-la-cab-2

If anyone is wanting anything, I'd be keen to buy together and share shipping costs (which are otherwise pretty prohibitive).

For anyone interest, I'm thinking a Tele body with one TV Jones-style pickup, single volume knob, metallic purple nitro finish and a one-piece baseball bat of a neck.

My too. I've written to them asking if they can put binding on a tele.

Those body prices are outstanding.

Was thinking the same, getting a Tele Deluxe while I'm there! The necks are fucking expensive though.

For necks, I go to Warmoth. A bit pricier, but you have so many options and the quality is great.

When you specify lightweight Ash, not so much.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Yeah the lightweight options make it add up. Can do NZD$225 for a two-piece alder Cabronita at 1.9kg though... That a bargain.

Hi all not sure if anyone is interested but I'm happy to cut out Tele bodies with whatever setup you would like. Also happy to do belly/comfort contours and or put binding on etc. Might save you a couple of dollars. I'll post some pics. Or flick me an e-mail if you would like more info - andrewwmacfarlane@gmail.com
