Im going to do the fender style 'floating' approach rather than flat to the chassis

I guess the idea being that it essentially puts the filament wires in a plane thats 90 degrees to the wires flat against the chassis floor. The filaments approach the valve from above down so no 'wrapping' around.
There are arguments for and against across the internet of course.

Heater wires done, output jack and impedence switch in plate.
