OK, fair enough, I'll wait for your order :)
Sigh. I was just saying to Grant this morning that I'm putting great effort into ignoring this amp of yours....

Nothing personal but I have two EL84 amps already.
What you got?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Update - I completed SRT #8 a few nights ago and it's now undergoing it's final "cook-test" as I type this. Also, I recently purchased a new 8-ohm, 25W Celestion G12M Greenback (the Chinese one) which I installed in my 112 Mesa Wideboy dimensioned open back cab. It sounds great with the SRT, better than the Greenback 20W Heritage that I tried earlier and perhaps better than the G1265 Heritage which was my previous favourite. Things may change of course as the new GB breaks in. And as always - the amp, the cab and the beholder's ear make alot of difference! I will mount SRT#8 in the Marshall style head-cab that I got from GrantB with view to providing a SRT combo as an option.

I’m the proud owner of #3 now. Or is it #4 Mike?

Sounds clips coming as soon as I sort myself out.

Here's a couple of pics of my prototype SRT combo - I've used a Mojotone Marshall style cab (ex GrantB).
I'll go for gold piping rather than white on the production version and might also make it a little deeper.
It's interesting how reduced the bass is as compared to my Mesa Wideboy 112 sized cab.
Thoughts or suggestions welcome.

That looks great. I don’t mind the white piping tbh but gold is cool. Very tempted to buy!

I reckon the red faceplate would look best with a darker grill cloth and piping.

Need to have a fang on one of these some day, Mike...

Yes I was thinking about at a darker grill cloth. And maybe a black vent grill rather than gold?

Yeah and I'd even go black piping.
