Re: 1 x 8" cab build
I'm prone to over engineering things, and after watching the speaker cab construction video I don't think it will matter at all my main thing is I'm going to be using it with my superstrat in B standard, as well as another project I'm working on which is in C#, and also a baritone when I get that... so all very low tuned things so I'm almost constructing a bass cab rather than a guitar cab, at least thats my theory... we shall see how it turns out!

To be clear this is all very much an experiment and if it sounds like crap then I'll make another more traditionally, this is my first cab so mostly its a good excuse to use all my woodworking tools that have been feeling neglected

Looks like I might have fucked myself with the nailing, might only be able to do a very subtle roundover on the edges....

Picked up the green vinyl from spotlight today, if you join their VIP club you get big discounts and a $10 voucher, so it cost me $15 for a whole metre
I got way more than I need as I’m bound to fuck things up, it’s the bit that scares me the most, never done it before!!

Re: 1 x 8" cab build
Looking good. Make sure you spray or paint the ends of the speaker bolts black. And if they don't go to the very end, spray the remaining visible thread black too. Nitpicking? Sure
