Marshall 1974 build
Parts have all arrived, I've started soldering but bloody guests have been sleeping in my guitar room for the past ten days.
BG has been working hard on the cab. I'm not sure what grill cloth to go for with the Emerald Green tolex. Thoughts?

Re: Marshall 1974 build
Personally I think no. 1 cause that is what I used with my blue tolex. Will look stunning with green too.
Edit, I meant ONE, not 3. Wasn't looking at the numbers, just assumed the first photo was one, and then two, etc...

Charcoal or black.
DrZ agrees.

3 and 4 look like they will never recover from a beer spill or toddler sneeze.
2... I think my grandma had that exact linoleum in her kitchen.
If something dark isn't an option, then 1 I guess.

Looks like 1, 3 and 4 'cloth' are all made of the same type of plastic, so same affinity for snot and spills.
But yes, agree with your excellent choice of 1

Re: Marshall 1974 build
I’d go with 1

None of the above - Black looks best.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

I chose 1 but I don't like green Tolex, oxblood and blue Tolex look nice
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
