So many pretty options!
My thought are any of them except 9, 13, 15, 25
I love 18, 22 and 24.

Green and tan is nice. I've posted this before — I want to have my Princeton re-covered like this at some point.

funnily enough, I have some lovely green tolex, just like that....
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

It'd mean undoing your own tweed job though... Which is to say nothing against your work — it's a fine job — but the tweed on blackface look has never really done it for me.

Dark green or Dark chocolate brown would be my picks for tolex.
Both go with a variety of grille cloths, but Black or Wheat come to mind

Re: Another ODS build..and a trainwreck
I could work on the amp for a couple of hours today. Unfortunately the fabric won't arrive until next month I'll be playing the cabinet bare for now.

It's finished. I will upload some later on. It currently doesn't have any enclosure so I left it in a box and stored in the cabinet.

Re: Another ODS build..and a trainwreck
Morning all,
I could only work on the amp for a couple of hours in the afternoon and an hour at night yesterday but I did manage to almost complete the amp. Rounded the edges, make the speaker baffle and mount, make grill panel and the back panel etc. T-nuts for the baffle, speakers and the back panel. At night, I mounted the rest of the parts (chassis, speakers, tubes). Amp is running 3x toshiba tubes, 2x 6l6 Svetlana tubes and EV force speakers that I got for $60 (came from a vintage yamaha amp). I also cut a 30mm diameter hole to mount an external speaker jack on my TR cabinet. The only thing that's left for me to do is to add the handle, corners and wrap the ODS cabinet with tolex but the tolex won't arrive until the end of the month so I'll use the amp without any tolex for a while.
This morning, I soldered the cables and gave my ODS a good test run. The amp sounded great but I still prefer to pair my D-type amps with EV SRO alnico "coffee can" speakers.. I think I do have a spare EV SRO in my tiny storage that needs a recone. I will have to check it out.

Not sure if that's your "workshop" as such but it's a rather cool space. Love to look and feel, has a tinge of classroom to it too.

Looking great! I'm digging the recessed baffle. Japan souds like a cool place to find gear
