Laminated ply for cab - will it kill the tone?

No expert or even close but I think due to the extra reflectivity it will subtly change the sound, and whether you do 1speaker vs multiple speakers, and open or closed back, will accentuate it or diminish it.

I'd try to plane it off first on a test piece, but if that destroys the rest of the ply, just go ahead and use as is.

Looks like it’s around 13 ply too, should be good for a cab. Good score!
