I don’t get how Accutronics can call the type 9 a ‘6 spring’ unit. By the looks of all the photos, it’s just a long tank version of the type 8: 3 springs. Am I missing something?

I never called it a 6 spring :D but good question, was wondering about it too... now that you mentioned it, I did a bit of research... after looking at it, its a bit of both?

Went to check this thread again. Cdog mentioned 6 and then 9, didn't pay much attention to the numbers. Looks like there's a transition between springs. Probably why it's called a 6 spring reverb unit?

I checked other websites for mode details. In this website It says its got 6 springs. 2 springs in 1 transition?

But it does say it has 3 springs in the amplified parts website. Is it considered a 3 spring or a 6 spring? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

By the way, don't mix up your dogs. There's Cdog, then there's codedog. I think we're both at fault for misquoting...

OH.. My bad! Thansk for telling me before I make more mistakes.. Should've noticed from the profile pic.  Sorry

I wont be building the cabinet until after the new year holidays. Will play it as is for now  After the cabinet, I'll proceed on making the 20w single tube reverb #102 ODRS. Someone also mentioned a trainwreck.... Probably after doing the 20w ODRS.... maybe.. just maybe
