Serious. I'm worried my soldering skills are too lacking to take such loads.
I has the cash. PM me.

I need to know it's going to take the power amp load signal. If the ends are soldered with the right weight solder and correct speaker wire is used between then I can be more sure. I would say what you are thinking of will take line level only.

I think I saw a 'documentary' on that ... there is baby oil involved by the way.

Yeah I hear you, my grandad smoked till the age of 90. His JCM800 speaker cable burnt out, and his house with it.... Roll the dice.

Re: I need someone to make me one of these...
I use a SS combo as a single 12 box for my Orange.
I just put an input jack on the speaker leads.
Put a mono jack on the combo spk wires.
use a proper Orange Speaker cable from the Valve head to the speaker box.
easy to switch back and forth.
I can make you something like that. I`ll look around for parts, I have a mono jack sitting on my desk, I think I have a female input around here somewhere.
if you dont get one somewhere else I might be able to do it for ya.

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.
