There's lots of good options in your poll!

If you're looking for inspiration, Trinity amps have a good resource of layouts and schematics available to download for their kits... they do several Marshall 18w variants as well as Hiwatt (TRIWATT) and Vox/Matchless(TC15) inspired designs. I build the Trinity 18w 'Plexi v6' version as a kit, running 6V6s (or EL84s it's switchable) it's just an outstanding sounding amp.

Mike built one of their kits recently too, the TC15 I think? You may need to join the forum to have a geez, check out the sticky threads in the 'Resources' section https://trinityamps.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=12

I think modelling is by far the best option for home players who can't turn the volume dial up over 1. I love my EVH but it has never been turned up louder than about 1.5 at my house..its a bit like driving a V8 around a carpark building and never on the open road

Having said that I would be HUGELY impressed if Marshmellow managed to BUILD a kemper type thing ... pretty sure by "project" he meant build his own

When I was at uni I had an old V8 rover, the exhaust had a few holes in it as the toan was incredible, when I used to drive through car parking buildings it would set off car alarms left, right, and centre  was such a cool old beast...

I'd build a plexi with a switch to run the input channels in series or parallel, an 87 would be my pref over a 59 though. Then you cover all the plexi range and something jcm800ish too. El84 or 6v6 doesnt require much in terms of circuit difference so why limit yourself to one or the other, both good and comparable for low power anyway.

I know the feeling - This happens a lot when I ride my Harley to close to parked cars - I think of it as payback to inconsiderate cars drivers when i am lane splitting
