Oh yes!!! Haha been trying to figure out what they're called. I did q a quick 3d and they're a perfect match! Also similar reference would be the Mesa boogie

Nice work, but why would you hide mahogany inside oak? I must be missing something...
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Yeah I honestly prefer Mesa's super-thick basketweave to Marshall's.

That's extremely beautiful!

Man I dig the look of that Mesa. Reminds me of some of the Trainwreck heads

Re: Dumble Ods style low watt amp
Anyway some update. The walnut lining was a good choice for me I guess. Made the cab look different from other cabs haha
A bit messy in the photo I took yesterday but had cleaned it all with a sander today. Will be doing some major sanding this coming week and prep it for a finish. Have ordered the mesa grill through eBay and should have it in a month. The glue was a b*** to remove too. It'll look nice with the coat on. It's a little hard to make something in your room here in Japan. The black and decker multi Evo has been fantastic for this kind of job haha anyway will keep you guys updated in the next few weeks

Re: Dumble Ods style low watt amp
Oh the joys of a company workshop at night. This was finished even before I finished the one at home. More like Home VS Workshop
Has anyone done half bind before? The workshop had a machine template that could do it. Should've bought my SLR but this took a day. I will put it side by side with the one im building and we can all decide later. Hard to decide with the home cabinet not being finished.
What are your throughts? 1/2 inch radius with inside reverse trim should make it look like a furniture. Seems like I'll be making another amp so i can use both I can finally run stereo. I also sold the other amps in my collection because I'm satisfied with the one I built but now I'm also looking at a Mesa Rectoverb 25
Anyway, more progress on this one than the home amp. Will take higher quality photos when paint hardens.
This was the test before the final.
Pine with Oak trim half bound dovetail and inside trim. MDF baffle.

Bloody nice! Did I miss you say what wood type it is? And what have you finished it with?

Re: Dumble Ods style low watt amp
Sadly my dovetail template only does full dovetails. I'm considering upsizing but the one I want would cost more than 5 routers....
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
