Have started on some amber shellac, 6G6B is the top contender for circuit but haven’t ruled out other options depending on what’s possible with the transformers etc. will be at least a month before we (of course when I say we I mean Paul WD will be doing the whole amp build part) can start on the amp build anyway so have some time to decide.

Excited to see this play out.
There are some minor differnces in gain between the different 6g6 (A/B) models so maybe have a little look at that.
That amp is gonna look sooooo good.

The treble pot/ EQ is different on the 6G6B which makes it the more desirable version from my reading, the bass channel also has an almost marshall type percussive gain which is also appealing.

After a few coats of amber shellac i think im happy with the level of vintage vibe, compared to a new Tweed amp as a reference.

Still experimenting, this I used spray Ados on which I'm not happy with, but I get a decent work discount on it so I thought I'd try again. Corners and seams I generally go with the strong stuff. I rushed it as well which didn't help, I wanted to see how little time I could produce a reasonable cab in, and this is not my greatest work.

At some point this will be reglued as I'm just picky, its for me though so I'll live with it awhile. This was very much an experimental cab. Some things worked but others didn't.
