You don't need to be grey yourself as long as you can find a granddad who is.

This is so very disturbing. A+

You OK Conway? Maybe a wee lie down.

Jay, that's beautifully done!
That's not the dark blue tolex you have though, is it?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Thank you Sir, it is indeed the tolex you saw. Looks a bit brighter on this photo, so I understand your 'confusion'.

Tolexing the 3 small back panels is a real pain in the arse... still working on that now

Cabinet finished but sadly haven't even started on the amp yet. I suppose I could transplant the amp from the head that I made last year.

Still, very happy with the result and here a few more pics...

I have always liked a clean bottom:

Those back panels took forever to make. Also, gluing the tolex with those cutouts ain't easy.

And yes, install the head amp. This deserves to be used.

Yes, might have to do that as building the amp and a telecaster at the same time will be painfully slow.
