Yeah that was a trial fit of the baffle. there is nothing there yet to support it :) But its coming along very nicely.

Jesus that is a big speaker! It fits at least... only just!

The missus has determined that our house is falling into disrepair and that I need to achieve a house job every weekend, so sadly - today I've been reshingling one side of the house. Which wasn't altogether unpleasant as it was a lovely sunny day, I got a third of it done and listened to audiobooks whilst doing it.

Re-shingling is a work in progress too, and you can safely google it. At home or work. Just never google any of JB's.

The missus is so happy, that she's doing the washing up out of turn!

I really enjoy shingling. A bit of thought, some repetitive care; it's meditative and relaxing. And when you're finished, something quite lovely has been created.
Never done it, but I imagine I could enjoy building rock walls once I got up to speed. Similar sort of discipline.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Tidy!

Though I am somewhat upset that the fasteners don't match the finish on the corners. Could you please replace them for me?

This is what's missing from my work. That sense of satisfaction and of feeling your work is admired or appreciated. Holidays are good, mind.
