Turretboard Fuzz Face
Hey guys
First post here so I thought I'd show you what I have been up to recently.
Here'y first attempt at a turretboard Fuzz Face, I've built a few since this one and have tweaked a few aspects to make it cleaner and easier to build.
Cheers

Way to go. Excellent first post.
Welcome!
Welcome!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Tis a shame to cover it up!

Re: Turretboard Fuzz Face
So clean and tidy. Nice work.
Random question, but do you use solid core wire? Just asking cos it seems to be in such a uniform shape?

Nothing to see here.
Re: Turretboard Fuzz Face
Yeah the cloth covered wire is pre tinned so effectively solid!
Thanks for everyone's kind words!
Cheers

Re: Turretboard Fuzz Face
Does that sort of wire effect the tone?
A sure cure for seasickness is to sit under a tree.
Re: Turretboard Fuzz Face
Nope just nicer to work with and suits the old handwired amp look I'm going for!
