Boss CE-2

Post by Marshmallow »

Hey all, I just acquired this the other day and the condition Is just amazing I thought I'd share. I took a lot of photos but I thought I'd share a few. 1979 model, silver screw long dash.

This is my Japan collection so far. Not so rare coz I didn't get the silver screw of the DS1 and sd1. Only the BD-2 is Taiwan. Haha

Only the DS-1 is in a not so good condition so eventually I'll find another one.

Enjoy :)

You probably know this already, but have a play with the trimpot - it can make quite a difference to how it sounds

only the OD1 the SP1 and the ummm forgot that one had the silver screw.

first three.

had to look the other one up. the PH1

of course.

try n find a PQ4
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

It was cheap. I hesitated to buy it because I already have a chorus but I'm glad I did buy it haha

Actually I didn't know anything about the trimpot. I thought it was just plug and play but thanks for the heads up. I've been curious about this pedal for so long I just had to get one.

FYI Actually DS-1 and I think SD-1 had them as well. CE2 definitely had the silver screw.

Good stuff man! I’ve got a silver screw BF-2 if you’re ever interested  Such great Flangers. Love how the early Boss stuff has had a real resurgence! They were the OG in many ways.
