Tronfest - 18th January 2025

Post by GrantB »

It's been more than a while. Pre-Covid for sure.

Mad time of year, but maybe the right time to take in some GAS and chill together.

I can arrange the hall and sausage sizzle facilities. Beers later at Good Neighbour around the corner.

Donations for hall and sausies, and all else to the forum Sav Fund.

Please express your interest here, and vote.

I think I'd make the trip down for the Jan date. Working the December one though.

Keen as a bean. Could probably make either date work TBH, but Jan is likely a little easier.

Will bring stinky old Gretsches.

I like the look of January. A bit easier after the Christmas rush at work.

I voted for December but I'll do either.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Similarly I can make either work, but Jan is a preference if you made me choose.

If it's in January, I am seriously considering getting up there to put faces and voices to some of the names I see daily.

Since the 18th Jan seems the more popular I’ll vote that too…looks like it could be quite a large affair!

The 18th it is!

OK, school has just told me the hall has just taken a confirmed booking for a training program....BY MY WIFE! How rude.

But the good thing is, there's another hall around the corner which I shall arrange to lock in. Plan B is we gather at my place, which by then will have a huge new garage, largely empty, and obviously no wife. Plan C is the community hall off River Road.

In summary - BOOK IT IN!

Heavily pencilled in with 2B lead. Let me know if a PA might be required…
