I was quite taken with that ASH Donnie (dibs... kthanksbye), jb's gorgeous Strat, Jimmy's bassman amp, and Shimmer's huge sounding tiny Vox head. Huge thanks Sty for hosting us! 😊
Already dibsed when I sold it bro ;)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Thanks for being a great host sty - such a mint set up you have!
Really fun afternoon. Some really cool gear you all have!
It's given me motivation to better organise my pedal board.
And I've added a June-60 Chorus to my Xmas wish-list!
I want all the pedals!

THE BOX BROWNIE!!!!!
Explain the Box Brownie?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I’ll let Andrew tell the story of the Box Brownie, which had the awesome original leather carry case.

I’ve just remembered one of the impressive cruel parts from the afternoon.

Cory and James started jamming on a couple of my guitars, it wasn’t quite happening but they persisted, then I remembered I bought to tell James that the Bullseye was tuned down to Eb.

After that they were off and a lengthy series of jams ensued. I wish had the nerve and skills to join in, but performance anxiety etc…

I made a little Ruby 9V amp and stuck it into an old box brownie. 1-Watt of raw power !
Volume and Gain.
Has a tiny little raspy speaker in it. But also a line out for a cab.
So stoked with how it turned out!
I want all the pedals!

Thanks again John, a very nice afternoon.

I have some research to do...

As always, really impressed by the self built gear and JB's mix of analog and programming is very cool.

Fun to have some jams too, thanks..

Hey, yes still loving the Drone Rainger. Have even worked out a few tunes that seem to work OK on it.

My big power supply on my pedal board died and didn't have time to get it sorted before the Gearfest, so had the "essential" selection out for a run..

I might look at getting one of those MOOER boards that Cory is using, pretty cool.

BTW that Drone Rainger is a wild bit of gear, hard to tame (getting the levels all mixed well) at times, but I even like just the delay it has built in...

My favourite bit was the red power on led was behind the lens so you get this HAL9000 effect :mental:
