Auckland / Southland gearfest

Post by Bg »

I will be going back to look after the folks in the uk, shortly, not sure when.

So a gearfest a bit closer than the auckland/shore thing in november 2029, I'm hoping for aug 21 and aug 22, will be in ellerslie if I can get the place. Or nearby anyway.

Good news for Slowy, he can slope off to Doolans for a kilkenny, or a pint of Boddingtons.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Hope all's well. Will it be long-term?

My dad's 92 now. Being miserable is what gets him through the day.

Ah. All worrisome for sure. I had siblings (well, one - the rest were fucking useless) on-hand which helped.

I might be busing down to Auckland earlier that week, but if I have a car I'll bring a 1960 CS reissue Strat, Whitfill T, maybe a Partscaster Radian Tele with P90s and a Taylor Built-To-Order Grand Auditorium.

S'Ok. I'll drive myself this time so I don't have to keep tabs on my ride home.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Fair enough! Alternatively, it might be a good distraction and boost for your mood. Take a few days to think it over. Not that you need my permission to do so.

Sorry to hear this BG hope all goes well, being that far away must make it stressful. I know how this feels, had couple of bad falls with Dad but he has bounced back.
