Oh, that Talman - did some one get that from Dunedin? If so, it’s my original one, purchased new in the early-mid 90s.

Let me know if you want me to take a look at that EQ pedal James. Happy to do so.

Looked like fun guys and I enjoyed my brief cameo!
It’s a 63 Vista Sonic. I’ve had it for ages, I reckin it has a great sound. Has the Wild Dog setting. Are you familiar with the Burns stuff?
Do you know where it came from? Looks like the one I had when I was 17.

I think it was in Napier before I got it round ten years ago…

That's mine - but bought it new from CJs in Chch back in the 90s. Cool that there is another one kicking around somewhere!
(Unfortunately I lost the truss rod cover and the trem arm off mine :( ...)

Really enjoyed the afternoon and was so cool to see the totally different approaches/gear that everyone has. I don't think there was any bit of equipment in common!
I want all the pedals!

Yup! I reckon not a common tuner, or even cords, among them!

Looks like a great venue for this type of thing. Awesome mounts of really cool gear too !
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
